MT|SHRM Honors Outstanding Partner

Humana, Inc. was named the first Bill Sims Partner of the Year by the MT|SHRM.  Humana, headquartered in Louisville, is one of the nation’s largest publicly traded health benefits companies.  Evans Looney (center), Humana President-TN, accepted the award on behalf of the Brentwood sales office team from Art Smith, MT|SHRM President-Elect (left of Evans Looney).

MT|SHRM Honors Recruiter of the Year

The first annual Recruiter of the Year award went to Matt LeBlanc, Senior Recruiter for NGP, a leader in technology and financial staffing. LeBlanc is a graduate of MTSU and is active in community and Chapter affairs. He played a key role with Matt Lowney and Dana Mastropieri in forming and growing a Special Interest Group (SIG) with MT|SHRM that serves talent acquisition professionals in Middle Tennessee. The new Talent Acquisition Networking Source (TANS) is open to recruiting professionals and currently serves 250 members. Dana Mastropieri presented the award.

MT|SHRM Awards Annual Scholarships

Heather J. Beshore (pictured in the center), and Lyndi Porter (pictured on the left) were awarded scholarships from MT|SHRM. The announcement was made at the December MT|SHRM awards event at the Millennium Maxwell House.
